My previous church banned a motorcycle church group from meeting on-site mid-week because they were afraid of the appearance it would send to Upper Arlington. I was extremely displeased at this “vain” and “judgmental” decision by church leadership. I started looking elsewhere. It was here that I found my new home.
I found my new church home. This church will not say God is limited to a box. I needed a church that said God could do anything. My ex-husband was a firm New Age believer. He was all about ideas such as Soulmates. My previous church even had some people who were this liberal but the church itself was no longer a good fit because I didn’t think it practiced the Bible in all ways, as listed below.
What an awesome church. Friendly people, inspired music, and sermons actually from the Bible. Incredible experience.
I started attending this church in 2014. It’s contemporary and is willing to accept that ideas such as soulmates are actually possible by God’s hands. Ironically, this very issue was what I was struggling with personally in 2014 and felt led by God late 2014 to attend. It was a great experience because the minister at the time had a rotating minister staff. It was at one of these services where the topic of soulmates, a very controversial evolution topic, was approached. He approached very controversial topics which are necessary at church. I firmly believe I was lead here by God because God was shaping the sermons towards answering my most difficult theological question.
I can’t believe people think this is only a demonic issue. As if God can’t beat the devil…I call it “Holy-Spirit possession” because all Christians have the Holy Spirit in them. I can only imagine what Adam and Eve had in the Garden of Eden when things were perfect. I’m sure they had telepathy! I’m sure they had chakras! I don’t know why God would not create something so beautiful as something as Soulmates.
