I was visiting the area, and had my car overheat on July 4. Did a google search and saw the 5-star ratings for Oxford Automotive. Plus, they were open the day after the 4th. I called first thing on the 5th. From Diane upfront to James, the owner, to the work done by Anthony, everything was great. They extensively diagnosed my car and noted any other non-emergency things that will eventually need work (but with the extra stuff, there was no pressure). They told me upfront they'd look at it the first day and fix it the second. They did. Everything was perfectly done, and the communication from them was better than any auto-repair place I've ever been, and I've been driving for over 30 years. Plus, they wash your car, clean it up, and vacuum it out at no charge. Everyone there is friendly and clear. All is upfront. Very pleased. I may even just plan to get regular maintenance done there when I'm in town.
I finally found a place I can trust to work on my car. I recommend Oxford to everyone.
Car problems are never convenient but unfortunately inevitable, so I am very grateful to have found such a reliable, honest, and caring mechanic shop that I can trust every time, for both routine and emergency repairs. I was really blown away by how much their team is focused on customer service after my car broke down last week. Long story short, the broken part could only be fixed by a dealership, which said they were booked up until August. Oxford was able to work their magic to make sure my car was repaired in a timely manner. They found out the part was still covered under warranty, which saved me a ton of money as well! Then I was pleasantly surprised when I received the call that my car would be done, only a few days later!
Brought my car here for the first time because we heard about their rental car service they provide for a flat fee of $39 no matter how long it takes them to fix your car. So we figured we'd bring in our 2000 Honda Civic for its timing belt service to give them a shot. We were greeted with friendly and helpful people and were always kept in the loop on the status of the car. In fact, they called us first to let us know when it was ready instead of us having to bother them constantly requesting updates which was one of our pet peeves with previous shops. We brought the car in at 8 AM and they had already inspected and completed a car condition report with pictures by 11:30 that morning! We were very pleased with the quality of work and time frame that the repairs were performed in. When we called the evening the car was supposed to be done, we were asked if it would be alright if they kept it until the next morning so they could detail it. Turns out this included hand washing the car, cleaning the windows, vacuuming the carpets, cleaning the dash, and cleaning the tires and wheels at no additional cost! It's crazy how focused these guys are on customer service! We will definitely be returning in the future!
I highly recommend Oxford Automotive to anyone in the Columbus area. They have been servicing my cars for the past couple years, and I never have any complaints. The entire staff is more than willing to help out as best they can to get you back on the road. You are always greeted with a smile and a friendly hello! Not only do I respect their honest communication & great customer service, but the rental car program cannot be beat. Plus they always do a full inspection to let you know of any other issues under the hood.
Great experience. Long way for me to go but worth the trip. I felt comfortable with the staff and impressed wit the facility. The car loaner plan is a real life saver and I can see using that in the future with three kids who all drive.
